GRANVILLE, Ohio—Theologian Patrick Cheng explores Christianity and Queer Theology in a lecture, “Radical Love: Why Christianity Is a Queer Religion,” at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Center Lecture Hall (150 Ridge Road). The lecture, sponsored by the Goodspeed Lecture Series, is free and open to the public. Cheng, assistant professor of historical and systematic theology at the Episcopal Divinity School, is a theologian, seminary professor and ordained minister, who also contributes to the Huffington Post website. His book, “Radical Love: Why Christianity Is a Queer Religion,” explores the subjects of Christianity and homosexuality and how they work together.
