Religion through the lens of sexuality

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Feminist theologian Mary Hunt will present a lecture, titled “Religion That Does Justice: A Queer Feminist Approach,” at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, in the lecture hall of Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road). The college’s Goodspeed Lecture Series is the sponsor for the event, which is free and open to the public. Hunt is the and co-founder and co-director of the Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics and Ritual, an organization dedicated to establishing accepting faith communities. Hunt lectures and writes on feminist and queer theology and ethics.
 
Denison’s Goodspeed Lecture Series brings accomplished religion scholars to campus to share their knowledge to enlighten the Denison Community of the various issues in the field.
