Buddhist Lecture at Denison

The Goodspeed Lecture Series is sponsoring a lecture by philosopher and buddhist David Loy. The lecture, “Buddhist Ecology: Reflections on Consumerism and the Environmental Crisis,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, in Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Center Lecture Hall (150 Ridge Road). The lecture is free and open to the public.
Author of several books, including “A Buddhist History of the West: Studies in Lack,” and “Awareness Bound and Unbound: Buddhist Essays,” Loy was most recently the Besl Family Endowed Chair Professor of Ethics/Religion and Society at Xavier University.
