Denison Gospel Choir Presents Spring Concert

The Denison University Gospel Choir will present its spring concert titled "A Concert of Gospel Music and Spirituals" at 8 p.m., Saturday (March 27) in Swasey Chapel. Admission is free and open to the public.

The choir is composed of more than 120 voices that will join together in a varied program of spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel music. The program will feature the musical compositions and arrangement of various gospel composers including works by director Raymond Wise. Some of the titles include "A Praying Spirit," "Rockin' Jerusalem," "He is My Light," "Make a Joyful Noise," and "Let It Shine," among others.
