Media and participatory culture in an age of globalization

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Rage and participatory culture is the topic of a Global Studies Seminar lecture that will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 2, in the Shepardson Room of Denison University’s Slayter Hall (200 Ridge Road). “On murderous and other kinds of rage: Media and participatory culture in an age of globalization” will be presented by Aswin Punathambekar, an assistant professor of communication at the University of Michigan. The talk is co-sponsored by the International Studies Program and the departments of cinema, sociology/anthropology and communication. The lecture is free and open to the public.
