·      Monday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the University Room of Slayter Hall (200 Ridge Road): “Seeking Allah in Christian Spain: Piety and the Umma in the Mancebo de Arévalo (1540s),” by Jason Busic, assistant professor of modern languages at Denison University.
·      Monday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the University Room of Slayter Hall (200 Ridge Road): “Race, Racism, and Political Behavior in Brazil,” by Gladys Mitchell-Walthour, assistant professor of political science at Denison University.
·      Monday, Feb. 18, at 4:30 p.m. in the Welsh Hills Room of the Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road): “Global Studies Poster Session,” by Gayatri Thampy of the sociology/anthropology department, Denison University; Christine Pae, assistant professor of religion at Denison University; Fadhel Kaboub, assistant professor of economics, Denison University; Ayana Hinton, assistant professor of biology, Denison University; and Micaela Vivero, associate professor of art, Denison University.
