Lecture explores the chemistry of energy

“Energy is the single most important challenge facing humanity today,” according to nobel laureate Rick Smalley. Joe Reczek, assistant professor of chemistry at Denison University, will explore the science of energy and the environment in a lecture, “Powering the Planet: A Chemist’s Tale of Crisis and Solution,” at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18, in the Shephardson Room of Slayter Hall (200 Ridge Road). The lecture, sponsored by the Global Studies Seminar, is free and open to the public.
