Denison's Beck Series Presents Mark Halliday

Denison’s Creative Writing Program will host poet and critic Mark Halliday at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in the Barney-Davis Hall Board Room (200 West Loop), as part of the Harriet Ewens Beck Fund Visiting Writers Series. The event is free and open to the public.
Halliday is a professor in the creative writing program at Ohio University. He has published several books of poems as well as numerous essays on the poetry of others. He has received a Lila Wallace/Reader’s Digest Foundation Writer’s Award, the Rome Prize in the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
