Ecologist and Author to Lecture at Denison

Biologist, poet, advocate Sandra Steingraber wears many hats in her quest for insight into our connections to the environment. Steingraber will present a lecture, “Living Downstream: An Ecologist’s Personal Investigation of Cancer & the Environment,” at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Slayter Union Auditorium (200 Ridge Road). The lecture is free and open to the public.
Steingraber is an authority on environmental links between cancer and human health. She explores the environment with a multifaceted approach, using her education in both biological sciences and in writing to help others understand these issues. The lecture is sponsored by the Laura C. Harris Symposium and the Ronneberg Endowed Fund.
