GRANVILLE, Ohio—“Why Standpoint Matters: What Feminist Research Contributes” is the title of a lecture that will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, in the room 114 of Denison University’s Olin Science Hall (100 Sunset Hill Drive). The lecture, by Alison Wylie, professor of philosophy at the University of Washington, will explore the role of feminist research programs in the social sciences. The event is sponsored by the Laura C. Harris Symposium theme, “Sex, Science and Society,” and is free and open to the public.
