Annual Human Rights Film Festival Celebrates 5th Year

The 5th annual Human Rights Film Festival will offer films at Denison University during the month of February. From freedom of expression in Afghanistan and Burma to international justice in the Amazon, the festival presents four movies that showcase a broad spectrum of issues. The films include “Crude,” “The Reckoning: The Battle for the International Criminal Court,” “Burma VJ,” and “Afghan Star” will be presented consecutively each Tuesday in February at 7 p.m. in Denison’s Slayter Auditorium (200 Ridge Road).
These events are free and open to the public. Sponsors of the film festival include the communication, international studies and political science departments; the Woman’s Studies Program; the Denison Museum; and the offices of International Student Services, Multicultural Student Affairs and Student Activities.
