Denison Theatre Presents "Inherit the Wind"

The Denison University Theatre Department will present “Inherit the Wind,” written by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee, and directed by Peter PauzĂ©, associate professor of theatre, at 8 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2 and 3, and Tuesday through Saturday, Oct. 6-10, in the Ace Morgan Theatre (211 West College Street). Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for senior citizens and $4 for non-Denison students.
Inherit the Wind is an all-too-relevant courtroom drama that crackles with colorful characters, passionate points of view, and an exciting, intelligent exploration of freedom of expression, the tyranny of conformity, and the sometimes rocky relationship between the individual and the community.
“Inherit the Wind” features the following seniors: Allison Brogan, Kathryn Dahm, Tara Demmy, Zachary Elmassian, Leah Ewing, Erica Hughes, Robert McGlynn, Kathleen Munford, Natasha Wright; sophomores: Rorie Dean, Alexa Dorris, Nicholas Ennen, Elisabeth Giffin; and first-year students: Cheree Cain, Cameron Fitchett, John Hewson, Keith Mullings Jr, Breanna Rankin. Cynthia Turnbull, associate professor of theatre, is costume designer. Tamara Honesty, Vail artist-in-residence, is scenic and lighting designer. Sophomore Rachel Nin is the stage manager.
