Students gather to participate in global day of service, help local cause

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University’s community service organization, Denison Community Association, will join the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma to host Kappa Karnival/Make a Difference Day at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, on Denison’s Fine Arts Quad (240 West Broadway). In the event of rain, the activities will be held in Mitchell Center (200 Livingston Drive). Student organizations will host booths featuring games or activities for children of the Granville and Newark communities. Profits will be donated to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, which provides need based financial aid to college students. The event is open to the public.
