Latin Jazz Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Combo Perform at Denison

Denison University’s Latin Jazz Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Combo, directed by Seth Rogers and Tom Carroll respectively, will perform on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 9 p.m. in the Bandersnatch (700 East Loop). The concert is free and open to the public.

The Latin Jazz Percussion Ensemble is a small improvising ensemble of about 10 Denison students. The music focuses on the Latin tradition and its pan-African roots, as well as off-shoots of that tradition. Along with several arrangements of known pieces, the group will premier two new works written specifically for their ensemble.
