Leadership consultant speaks at Denison

Leadership consultant M.J. Clark will present a lecture titled “Lessons from a Reluctant Entrepreneur” at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Lecture Hall (150 Ridge Road). Sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Program for Liberal Arts and Entrepreneurship Education, the lecture is free and open to the public.
President of M.J. Clark Communications LLC, Clark will share how she came to the decision to start her own company, the challenges she faced along the way, tips for would-be entrepreneurs and the three steps of assertive communication that help to effectively communicate in both business and personal arenas.
Clark has worked in the communication field for more than 20 years. She has a master's degree in organizational communication from Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Ohio University. She was a visiting professor of public relations in Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism in 2006 and 2007.
