Denison University welcomes new director of administrative services

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University’s vice president of finance and management, Seth Patton, has announced that Jenna McDevitt has been hired as the college’s new director of Administrative Services. 

McDevitt comes to Denison after having served as director of Business Management Services/Purchasing for the Westerville City Schools since 2001. Her responsibilities there included oversight and management of many areas that will be her responsibility at Denison, including food service operations, purchasing and contract administration, property management, and print services, among others. She was also closely involved with an expanded community garden initiative with Otterbein College. 
 
“I am honored that I was selected as the successful candidate,” says McDevitt. “I’m looking forward to being part of Denison University and the Granville community."
 
McDevitt has a B.A. in multi-disciplinary, employment relations from Michigan State University. She is a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and a Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM).
 
“We had a terrific pool of applicants for this position and we’re very pleased to have attracted Jenna to Denison,” says Patton. “This is an important and challenging position and we’re confident Jenna will be a great addition to the Denison community.”
