Lecture examines strength of euro versus the American dollar

GRANVILLE, Ohio—French economist Jacques Mistral will give a lecture, titled “One Dollar = .75 Euro: Why is a Currency Supposedly on the Verge of collapse so Strong Against the U.S. Dollar?” at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, in the boardroom of Denison University’s Barney Davis building (200 West Loop). Mistral is an economics professor and head of economic research at the French Institute for International Relations. He has served as Economic Minister Counselor at the French Embassy in the United States. In his time in America, he also held the role of a senior fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
