Calendar of Events for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Black History Month Celebration

Denison University will celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month with a series of events that include convocations, plays, films and more. The Words and the Music IV “What’s Going On: Chaos or Community” will explore social justice issues of the 1960s, including the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement and campus unrest, using the lens of Marvin Gaye’s seminal album, “What’s Going On,” and Dr. King’s book, “Where do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?”
