GRANVILLE, Ohio—Bob Malcuit, emeritus professor of geology at Denison University, will present a lecture “A Tidal Capture Model for the Origin of the Earth’s Moon and the Cool Early Earth Model for the Primitive Earth: Are They Compatible?” The lecture, sponsored by the C.L. Herrick Society, will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, in room 311 of the Olin Science Center (100 Sunset Hill Drive). The event is free and open to the public.
