Family Day at the Denison Museum returns

GRANVILLE, Ohio­­—The Denison University Museum will host its autumn Family Day event on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Denison Museum (240 West Broadway). All ages are invited to attend and reservations are encouraged. Activities will include a scavenger hunt, museum tours, refreshments and arts and crafts projects. The Denison Museum houses both permanent and visiting exhibitions for viewing by Denison students, faculty and staff as well as members of the surrounding communities. Currently, the museum has the “Knock on Wood, Five Years and Counting: The Fifth Anniversary of the Denison Museum” and “Turning Leaves: Tea Through Time and Around the World” exhibitions on display. Both exhibits will run until Friday, Dec. 9. The Denison Museum is open daily from noon to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from noon to 7:00 p.m.
