Denison Museum hosts Family Day with hands-on fun for local families

The Denison Museum announces Family Day on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Denison Museum (240 W. Broadway). This child-friendly event will feature a tour of the current exhibitions as well as demonstrations and hands-on activities. Family Day is free and open to the public.
Family Day will begin with a tour and introduction of the exhibitions “Kuna: Central American Indian Art & Artifacts,” and “Between Light & Shadow: Chinese Puppets from the Denison Museum.” Following the tour, the Denison Museum staff will demonstrate the art of making Kuna paper molas and Chinese shadow puppets and will include the opportunity to create molas and shadow puppets. Light refreshments will be served.
