Denison Museum Presents New Exhibit

The Denison Museum presents “Stieglitz and Norman: An American Place,” an exhibit of 20th Century photography. The opening reception begins at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the Denison Museum, located in Burke Hall (240 West Broadway). This event is free and open to the public.

Photographer Dorothy Norman is the author of a biography of the photographer and gallerist Alfred Stieglitz. Norman worked on and recorded conversations at Stieglitz’s gallery, An American Place, in New York City between 1927 and his death in 1946. The exhibit’s artwork is on loan from the Ross Museum of Art at Ohio Wesleyan University and showcases the work of both artists.
