How food supplements affect your brain

GRANVILLE, Ohio—“Transmitters in Your Tea?  Food Supplements and Your Brain” is the title of an informal discussion of the intended and unintended consequences of dietary supplements especially those advertised to alter alertness, concentration and relaxation, presented at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, in Denison University’s Samson Talbot Hall room 212 (350 Ridge Road). The lecture, sponsored by the student group Neuroscience Education and Research at Denison (NERD), is free and open to the public.
