Swasey Observatory open house

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Denison University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy will host an observatory open house from 9 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at Swasey Observatory (300 Chapel Drive). The observatory will be open rain or shine. If the skies are clear, telescopes will be set up to observe several deep sky objects and students and professors will be on hand to answer questions. In case of overcast skies, there will be several hands on astronomy demonstrations set up inside the observatory. The observatory open house is free and open to the public.
