Denison Theatre Students Present One Act Plays

Denison University theatre department students will produce four original short plays for "DRAMATIS PERSONAE, The Second Annual One-Act Festival" set for March 21 and 22. Written, directed, designed and acted by Denison students, the plays will be performed at 8 p.m. on Friday (March 21) and at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday (March 22) in the Burke Hall Theatre. Admission is free but seating is limited. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling the box office at 740-587-6527. Reservations will be held until 10 minutes before each show time.

"Beware of Tree," "Reciprocity," "Ten Hundred Thousand," and "Here Goes. . ." are the titles of the four plays. Producers for the festival are seniors Scott Barsotti and Matthew Bolish, both from Pittsburgh, Penn., and Melinda Hughes, from Cleveland. Barsotti's play "Ten Hundred Thousand" will be directed by Jeffrey Smith, a junior from Kansas City, Mo. Smith's play "Beware of Tree" will directed by Tiana Gabriel, a senior from Cleveland Heights. Maggie Reid, a sophomore from Coral Gables, Fla., wrote "Here Goes. . .," which will be directed by Jesse Corn, a senior from Gates Mills. "Reciprocity," by Sara Wolenski, a junior from Venetia, Penn., will be directed by Hughes.
