Denison University welcomes the families and parents of current students to campus for the annual Parents' Weekend, which is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 7-9). Attendees are encouraged to enjoy and explore the campus while also experiencing many entertainment opportunities.
President and Mrs. Dale T. Knobel will open the weekend events with a "Meet the Faculty" reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday in Henderson Gardens (204 W. Broadway). "I'm pleased that by the time of Commencement, I've gotten to know so many of our students personally and feel that I've become acquainted with their families, too," says President Knobel. "This, surely, is one of the special features of a place like Denison."
For those interested in finding out more about the Denison academic experience, classes will be open all day on Friday for visitation. A Philosophy Coffee from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Welsh Hills Room of the Burton D. Morgan Center offers a rousing discussion.
