GRANVILLE, Ohio—William Propp, a professor in ancient history and Judaic studies at the University of California, San Diego, will give a lecture, titled “Little Less Than Gods: Ancient Israelite Anthropology,” at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, in the Veggie Room of Denison University’s Curtis Dining Hall (100 Smith Lane). Propp is the Harriet and Louis Bookheim Chair in Biblical Hebrew and Related Languages at UC San Diego and is the author of “Water in the Wilderness: A Biblical Motif and Its Mythological Background.”
