Denison students hold Relay for Life events

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Relay for Life, a national organization that raises funds for cancer research, will hold a 2-day series of events beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 12, in Denison University’s Mitchell Center (200 Livingston Drive). All Denison students, faculty and staff, as well as Granville citizens are invited to attend. The events are free if you've pre-registered and are open to the public. Activities for the event include performances by several Denison a cappella groups, a drag show, dodgeball tournament, and a luminaria ceremony. “So far our school has raised almost $33,000, which means that since it began, Denison’s Relay for Life event has raised over half a million dollars,” says Stephanie Shoby, a senior from Eastlake, Ohio.
