Perceiving movie magic

GRANVILLE, Ohio—A lecture by Joel Richeimer, professor of philosophy and chair of the Department of Philosophy at Kenyon College, will examine the differences in perception between seeing an event and seeing a film of the same event. The lecture, “Rethinking Movie Magic: A Pragmatist Approach,” will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, in room 210 of Denison University’s Samson Talbot Hall (350 Ridge Road).
