Denison welcomes poet and scholar Juan Armando Rojas

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Poet and scholar Juan Armando Rojas will give a reading of his work at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, in room 210 of Denison University’s Samson Talbot Hall (350 Ridge Road). Rojas, a professor in the modern foreign languages department at Ohio Wesleyan University, has scholarly work published in literary magazines, reviews and anthologies. As a poet he has published “Vertebral River / Río vertebral,” “Ceremonial of Wind / Ceremonial de viento,” “Santuarios desierto mar,” and “Lluvia de lunas.” In the spring of 2011, Rojas was honored by the Universade de Coimbra, Portugal, as the resident poet.
