Artist talk by sculptor

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Artist-in-residence, New York based sculptor Heather Rowe, will give an artist talk at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, in the Cinema House screening room, (201 N. Mulberry Street). Co-sponsors of the talk are the Vail Visiting Artist and Studio Art Programs. The event is free and open to the public. Rowe’s solo exhibitions include commissions for the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indianapolis, Indiana; UMMA/University of Michigan Museum of Art, Ann Arbor, Michigan; D’Amelio Terras Gallery, New York; and Galerie Zink, Berlin. She has been featured in numerous group exhibitions including shows at PS1/MoMA, Long Island City, N.Y.; Art in General, N.Y.; White Columns, N.Y.; the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati; and in 2008 her work was featured in the Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art, N.Y.
