Denison philosophy lecture

The Denison University Department of Philosophy will host a colloquium with Tamar Rudavsky, Ohio State University professor of philosophy, at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, in the Samson Talbot Hall of Biological Science, room 210 (350 Ridge Road). A specialist in Jewish medieval philosophy, Rudavsky will discuss “Galileo, Delmedigo, and Spinoza—Reluctant Heretics?” The event is free and open to the public.www.denison.edu.
Rudavsky’s research focuses on Jewish medieval philosophy. She has just published a book on Maimonides and has edited several volumes including “The Cambridge History of Jewish Philosophy: From Antiquity through the Seventeenth Century.”www.denison.edu.
