Infants learning language subject of lectures at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Jennifer Saffran, a psychology professor at University of Wisconsin Madison, and expert on infant language learning, will deliver two lectures at Denison University. The first lecture, “Beyond Nature versus Nurture: Changing views of infant language development,” will take place at 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 10, in the auditorium of Higley Hall (100 Ridge Road). The second lecture, a colloquium with the psychology department titled, “Sounds and meanings working together: Word learning as a collaborative effort,” will take place at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, in the lecture hall of the Burton D.
