Psychology colloquium to explore coparenting

GRANVILLE, Ohio—A lecture on coparenting, “Understanding Parenting from a Family Systems Perspective,” will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the lecture hall of Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road). The lecture, by Sarah Schoppe-Sullivan, an Alumni Distinguished Teacher with the Ohio State University, is sponsored by the psychology department and is free and open to the public. Coparenting is the process in which parents engage by coordinating their familial roles and duties. Schoppe-Sullivan’s talk will focus on coparenting’s development in society and its effect on children.
