The event takes place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive) and will feature three panelists, including a creative performer/writer and a content researcher from “Sesame Street” as well as Rollie Krewson, master puppet designer for the Jim Henson Company and a member of the Denison class of 1974. Each year the Spectrum Series offers lectures, performances, exhibitions and academic programs relating to a specific theme. The theme for the 2012-13 academic year, “Creativity and Courage,” examines the places where creativity and courage intersect, encouraging innovative changes to emerge in art, culture, science and society.
