Investment Analyst Speaks To Denison Student Club

The Denison University Investment Club will welcome a former member as speaker at 7 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 5) in the President's Dining Room of Huffman Hall (450 Chapel Drive). Michael J. Sison '92, a first vice president, equity research analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets, a division of McDonald Investments Inc., will speak on "Creative Research in Today's Markets." The presentation is free and open to the public.

Sison joined KeyBanc in 1998 where his research coverage focuses on the specialty chemical industry. He recently was named to the top three industry analysts -- earnings estimators by Starmine/Forbes Magazine. While he is visiting he will also meet with students in the Career Services Office to discuss investment banking opportunities.

Prior to joining KeyBanc, Sison was an associate consultant with Merrill Lynch and also served as an investment analyst with Smith Barney. A 1992 graduate of Denison, he earned a master of business administration degree in finance and accounting from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, New Orleans.

In addition to his professional activities, Sison serves as a member of the board of Playhouse Square Partners in Cleveland, as well as on the board of the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation and as president of the Tulane Alumni Association. He was a founding board member of the Society of Filipino American Young Professional in Chicago.
