Buy a bowl of soup and support the Food Pantry

GRANVILLE, Ohio—The Denison University Art Collective will hold its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser: a handcrafted bowl filled with soup can be purchased, with the proceeds to benefit the Licking County Food Pantry, in recognition of the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The sale takes place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, in the Welsh Hills Room of the Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road) and from 4 to 7 p.m. in front of the Soup Loft (138 East Broadway). The event, sponsored by the Denison University Art Collective, will charge a $10 fee per bowl, $5 with a student I.D., and is open to the public.
