Classics lecture at Denison

Steve Stannish, associate professor of history at State University of New York, Potsdam, will present a lecture titled “In the Gardens of Tantalus: Vampirism and Philosophy in Philostratus’ “Life of Apollonius of Tyana” at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 23, in room 114 of Denison University’s Olin Science Hall (100 Sunset Hill Drive). The lecture is free and open to the public.
