Denison Singer's Theatre Workshop to Perform "At the Corner of Broadway & Opera: A Revue"

The Denison University Singer's Theatre Workshop will perform a blend of works in "At the Corner of Broadway & Opera: A Revue." The show is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 3) in Burke Recital Hall. The program is directed by Belinda Andrews-Smith, with Kevin Wines as accompanist.
The performance will feature scenes and selections from Broadway musicals, operas, and operettas, including the Overture from the opera "The Barber of Seville" by Gioacchino Rossini, the Kiss Duet and Three Little Maids from the operetta "The Mikado" by Gilbert and Sullivan, and a selection from their "Iolanthe." Other numbers on the program include songs from "Into the Woods" and "A Little Night Music" by Stephen Sondheim, "Kiss of the Spider Woman" by Kander and Ebb, "Phantom" by Maury Yeston, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" by Rupert Holmes, "Miss Saigon" by Boublil and Schonberg, "Wicked" by Stephen Schwartz, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" by Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan, "The Student Prince" by Sigmund Romberg, "The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart, "The Little Shop of Horrors" by Alan Menken, "Sideshow" by Russell and Krieger, "Guys And Dolls" by Frank Loesser, "The Medium" by Gian Carlo Menotti, "The Secret Garden" by Lucy Simon, and "The Producers" by Mel Brooks.
