Denison University, Kenyon College and the College of Wooster are working together on a program to promote sustainability issues on their college campuses, which is funded by the Great Lakes College Association (GLCA). The Sustainability Initiative is accepting proposals for grants until Oct. 26, 2009.

“This is an excellent opportunity to take a great green idea and use these funds to put it into action,” says Susan Studer King, environmental studies program manager at Denison. “We are hopeful students, staff and faculty will work together to present innovative campus sustainability proposals.”
