Suzuki Program at Denison Has Summer Session Openings
Posted: March 27, 2006
The Denison University Suzuki Program has openings for additional students starting in the summer session beginning May 1. The Denison University Suzuki Program offers instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano and flute to students ages 3 to adult.
Suzuki-trained instructors strive to create a positive musical learning partnership among faculty, students, and their parents by adhering to the philosophical principles and educational methods developed by Shinichi Suzuki. He believed that musical ability is not inborn talent but an ability that can be developed in every child who is properly trained. Children can develop musical ability, just as children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue.
