Suzuki music program holds information meeting

GRANVILLE, Ohio—An information meeting for those interested in participating in the Suzuki music program will beheld at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, in the rehearsal room of Burke Music Hall (240 West Broadway). The meeting is free and open to the public. 

The Suzuki Method teaches music to children in a program developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, who believed in fostering the potential in every young person. Suzuki believed that any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability.
 
The program has openings for cello, flute, piano, viola and violin for the winter semester. For more information, contact the director of the Suzuki Program, Jim Van Reeth, at 740-975-4644.
