Denison's Suzuki program holds information session

Posted: August 13, 2010

The Denison University Suzuki program will hold an information session on Sunday, Aug. 22, at 3 p.m. in Burke Recital Hall (240 West Broadway). Suzuki instruction is offered in piano, violin, viola, cello and flute for students ages 3 to adult.

The Suzuki Method teaches music to children according to a program developed by Shinichi Suzuki. Suzuki believed that any child can develop musical ability and other life-long skills with the help of the child’s parent and a skilled teacher.

The program currently has openings for piano, violin, viola, cello and flute for the fall semester, which begins on or around the last week in August. For more information, contact Jim Van Reeth at 740-975-4644.
