Denison University Suzuki Program Talent Education Meeting and Recital

The Denison University Suzuki program will hold a recital at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, followed by an information session at 4:30 p.m., both in the Burke Recital Hall (240 West Broadway). Suzuki instruction is offered in piano, violin, viola, cello and flute for students ages 3 to adult. The recital and information program are free and open to the public.
The Suzuki Method teaches music to children according to a program developed by Shinichi Suzuki. Suzuki believed that any child can develop musical ability and other lifelong skills with the help of the child’s parent and a skilled teacher.
The program currently has openings for piano, violin, viola, cello and flute for the spring semester, which begins on or around the Monday, Jan. 3. For more information, contact Jim Van Reeth at 740-975-4644.
