GRANVILLE—When clarinet, piano and saxophone perform together, you know you’re not going to hear an ordinary concert. The Thelema Trio delivers a unique musical experience with titles like “Hypnosis,” “Graffiti” and “Dingle Way.” They will perform at Denison University at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, in the Burke Recital Hall (240 West Broadway). The concert is free and open to the public.
Thelema Trio specializes in experimenting and storytelling with music, using an enormous range of “sound colors.” The musicians hail from Peru and Belgium; their diverse backgrounds are fodder for their musical passions. As part of the Vail Visiting Artists Series, the group will engage the audience with their journeys in music and sound.
