GRANVILLE, Ohio— Within an intimate series of color prints, Denison University’s artist-in-residence Jim Winters presents not only places he considers home but also distant locales he’s visited around the world, ranging from Argentina to the Czech Republic. The exhibition, titled “Travelogue,” demonstrates wanderlust, the historical impulse of artists to wander the world, moving by chance and instinct. Winter’s will present a Gallery Talk at the exhibition’s opening reception. The reception is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a Gallery Talk by Winters at 6 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Mix Gallery in Mulberry House (202 North Mulberry Street). The exhibition continues through Sunday, Nov. 20, with hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
