GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Denison University Wind and String Ensembles will perform “Music from Around the Globe” at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive). The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert, directed by Mark Wade and Cora Kuyvenhoven, will present music celebrating the sounds of Korea, Germany, the United States, Brazil, England and Russia, with musical legacies spanning four continents. From the String Ensemble’s spectrum of homogeneous string colors to the Wind Ensemble's array of winds, brass and percussion, this concert will paint a vivid portrait of the world in music.

Denison University, founded in 1831, is an independent, residential liberal arts institution located in Granville, Ohio.
