GRANVILLE, Ohio—Elizabeth L. Wollman, an associate professor of music at Baruch College, City University of New York, will speak at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, April 17, in the auditorium of Herrick Hall (500 West Loop). Her lecture, titled “Stonewall, the Women’s Movement, and the Origins of the 1970s Adult Musical,” will discuss post-Stonewall gay rights and the women’s movement, and their impact on musical theater in 1970s New York City. This event, co-sponsored by the Spectrum Series’ “Creativity and Courage” theme, is free and open to the public.
