Denison Women's Choir To Offer Performance

The Denison University Women's Choir and Friends, conducted by Bonnie Borshay Sneed, will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday (March 26) in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Granville, located at the intersection of Broadway and Main Street. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will feature the choir itself, French horn player David Nesmith, vocal solos by seniors Cora Walsh and Mary Sheridan, and a duet by two first-year tenors, Raymond Harvey and Jordan Wolff. The choir will sing music ranging from the Renaissance to the modern period. Kristin Grimshaw will provide accompaniment.

The Denison University Women's Choir was founded in the fall of 2005 by Sneed, Denison's coordinator of choral activities. This concert is the choir's first major performance.
