Graduation Requirements

Graduation Commencement

To earn a degree from Denison University, a student must complete the following requirements.

  • Fulfill the General Education Requirements.
  • Fulfill all major requirements.
  • Reach 127 semester hours of credit.
  • Complete at least 64 of the 127 credit hours in residence at Denison and reside at Denison for both the fall and spring semester of the senior year.
  • Reach a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0, overall and in the major and minor (if applicable).
  • Be in good standing under the Student Code of Conduct.
